 CU Point

 for International Students

Dear Students,

Welcome to the last issue of our newsletter before the summer holiday. But don’t worry. It doesn’t end there for us! You can still contact us for psychological and other assistance. We are there for you even during the summer.

In addition, we would like to remind you that, from Friday to Saturday (7 to 8 June), elections for the European Parliament will be held in the Czech Republic. If you’re not sure if you can vote or need more information, have a look here.

We wish you a successful exam period and a wonderful summer break, and look forward to seeing you again in September.

Student Activities

Charlie, the queer association of Charles University, offers students and academic staff of CU a platform for self-realization, meeting, and fun. Its focus is on developing the social life of LGBTQ people. It seeks to bring different people together and change the often-stereotypical view of queer people, creating a more diverse (non)-academic life.

Charlie hosts several events, including regular Tuesday meetings, board games or picnics. Twice a month we host Charlie’s Queer Meet-Up, an event for English speakers. We cooperate with several other associations, including Prague Pride or the international queer organization IGLYO. We are looking forward to meeting you at one of our events!
