Dear students, May brings two public holidays, along with a welcome opportunity to take a short break during an otherwise busy period. As the semester gradually approaches its end, you might be looking for ways to maintain your energy and focus. One option is to change your pace and join us for the Running School, or enjoy Rector's Sports Day. Or, if you prefer to slow down, come along for the Prague on the Movie Screen Tour and discover the city from a different perspective. Running School
MAY 5 The next lesson of the Running School takes place in May. Enjoy a run in Stromovka in the fresh air. An experienced instructor will advise you on technique. The lesson is intended for both beginners and advanced runners.
Prague on the Movie Screen Tour
MAY 12 Discover Prague through locations from films like Mission Impossible, James Bond, and Amadeus. It will be a great way to explore Prague uniquely in the outdoor-friendly season of the year.
Rector’s Sports Day
MAY 13 The much-anticipated Rector’s Sports Day is fast approaching once again this year. Check out the event website, choose the sport that’s just right for you, and sign up. We’ll be competing in Prague, Plzeň, and Hradec Králové.
Training on the IBM SPSS statistical tool
MAY 19 – JUN 2 Come learn how to use another tool for fast and reliable data processing, statistical analysis, and the creation of clear reports for research and teaching.
Donate Blood. Help with CU.
JUN 15 On Monday, June 15, 2026, a temporary blood donation site will be set up at UK Point in cooperation with VFN. You can come and donate blood there. Join us and help save lives.
