Dear students, Professor Jiří Zima assumed office as the Rector of Charles University on 1 February 2026, receiving his appointment decree at a formal ceremony from the President of the Czech Republic. He will lead the University until 2030. Following the recent fire at the student halls of residence in Prague’s Břevnov district, we are sharing information on crisis support available to those affected. For the summer semester, we have prepared a range of events, workshops and key information that we hope you will find useful.
