2026 Annual Charles University Representative Ball
JAN 16 Dress up and join the CU Representative Ball at the beautiful Municipal House. Tickets are now available via the GoOut platform and the full program can be found on the event website.
Onboarding Course
This course is helping international students settle at Charles University and in Czechia: we cover everything from healthcare, legal basics, university services & more! Join us every Wednesday at 4 PM or anytime via Moodle.
Monitoring Student Mental Health
NOV 18–DEC 5 Participate in our monitoring of student mental health. A link to the questionnaire can be found in this post and on social media of Charles University and its faculties.
Counselling during the Holidays
DEC 22—31 Online psychological counselling is here for you even during the holiday period. The end of the year can be challenging, and that’s why we are unusually offering appointments during this time as well. More information can be found on the CU Point Counselling website.
Giving Tuesday
NOV 20–DEC 4 Come to the Kampus Hybernská and contribute to the wave of goodness! As part of Giving Tuesday, you can leave your good deed on our bulletin board and inspire others. Together, we will show that even small actions have great power.
Giving Tuesday: Charity Donation
DEC 1–4 Join the charity donation of clothing and other Christmas gifts taking place as part of Giving Tuesday – a university-wide event celebrating good deeds. You can bring your items to Gratis Market at Kampus Hybernská. Hope to see you there!
International Student & Alumni Meet-up in Olomouc
DEC 4 Invite friends, colleagues and alumni to join this DZS meetup! Connect, share experiences, explore opportunities, and enjoy Czech culture in Haná. Network with students from other Czech universities in a friendly atmosphere.
International Volunteer Day
DEC 4 Together with several non-profit organisations, the CU Volunteer Center is organising another charity event. This time, we will create Christmas cards for elderly people in need. We have all the art supplies ready for you. Monty the pony will come to see us, too.
Supporting Friends in Stressful Moments
DEC 10 Learn how to support people in emotional distress such as crying, anger, or anxiety. We’ll give you the tools to help others in a psychological crisis while caring for yourself.
AI for Advanced Users – How to Make Studying Easier with AI
DEC 10 Explore AI beyond the basics! Learn how to craft better prompts, build your own AI assistants, analyse academic sources, and even create simple apps — no coding required. Supercharge your studies before the next exam period.
Offline & Outdoors: The CU Mountain Retreat
DEC 12–14 Join a 3-day Czech mountain escape designed for our international students! Explore nature, build connections, and enjoy digital detox including acoustic music board games. All this and more resilience activities will be led by a professional mountain leader.

International Středa, Mezinárodní Wednesday
Series of gatherings organised by the CU Student Ambassadors is happening in Prague, Pilsen, and Hradec Králové. Join us every Wednesday at 7PM at Kampus Hybernská in Prague for fun, new connections and cultural exchange. For Pilsen and HK events, please follow our IG profile.
Jan Palach Literary Contest
Faculty of Arts' Student Council would like to invite you for the 5th rendition of the Jan Palach Literary contest. This year, the topic is “The Power of Truth”. International Quizmas Party
DEC 4 Come expecting Christmas music and food from around the globe, a Christmas-themed quiz, and a short talk. Feel free to bring you favourite Christmas treat as well! Meet us on Thursday, DEC 4th at 6:00 PM at the Centrum Křižovatka (Balbínova 10). Entire programme will be in English.
