Onboarding Course
DEC 3 Study in EU: Student Visa and Resident Permit. This session introduces the 4EU university alliance, then guides non-EU students through the residence permit process in the Czech Republic — including the types of permits, extensions, and EU travel rights.
RSE and Cloud Computing Services
DEC 9–10 Attend workshop of newly established Research Software Engineering (RSE) Center on Bash Automation and Version Control Registration. The aim of the two hands-on workshops is to introduce participants from across disciplines to essential skills in automation and efficient data handling.
Supporting Friends in Stressful Moments
DEC 10 Do you encounter people who experience strong emotions such as crying, anger, or anxiety, and are unsure how to help them effectively? In this workshop, we will give you the tools to help others in a psychological crisis while taking care of yourself.
Giving Tuesday: Charity Donation
DEC 1–4 Join the charity donation of clothing and other Christmas gifts taking place as part of Giving Tuesday – a university-wide event celebrating good deeds. You can bring your items to Gratis Market at Kampus Hybernská. Hope to see you there!
International Volunteer Day
DEC 4 Together with several non-profit organisations, the CU Volunteer Center is organising another charity event. This time, we will create Christmas cards for elderly people in need. We have all the art supplies ready for you. Monty the pony will come to see us, too.
Monitoring Student Mental Health
NOV 18–DEC 5 Participate in our monitoring of student mental health. A link to the questionnaire can be found in this post and on social media of Charles University and its faculties.
2026 Annual Charles University Representative Ball
