Internationalisation - POINT ****************************************************************************************** * ****************************************************************************************** Financial support from the Programme of Support for Internationalisation of the Charles Un (hereinafter referred to as the POINT programme) is intended for doctoral students and for other units. For doctoral students, the POINT programme provides funding for short-term mobilities abro period of three weeks: • participation or mobility of CU students to summer schools (with the exception of langua • short-term unpaid professional student internships • international competitions and championships • student conferences with active participation • representation of the CU at an international plenary related to the internationalization University's activities For CU faculties or other units, the programme provides opportunities to obtain support fo • the organisation of international summer schools and other non-curricular events organis faculties or other units (in accordance with the Framework for State Aid for Research, D Innovation (2014/C 198/01)). The application period for the spring round of 2026 takes place April, 2026. The deadline is at 4pm. ****************************************************************************************** * Application Submission ****************************************************************************************** Applications must be submitted electronically via the IS Věda UK electronic system [ URL " is.cuni.cz/veda/portal/dashboard"] (section PAS - projects and competitions) by the specif login name (personal number) and a password to CAS are required to log in. For the autumn round (applications received from 1-30 November), funding is available for start date of 1 December of that year. Short-term doctoral student mobilities: • Students may be awarded financial support for travel, accommodation and meals. Students to apply for a contribution towards the participation fee. • The support allocated is earmarked, i.e. it is linked to the specific applicant, activit implementation dates. Financial support and cannot be demanded. • Active participation by students means active outcome or involvement in the programme (p paper). • Priority for support is given to applicants who have not previously received support thr programme. • It is not possible to apply for funding from the CU Internationalisation Support Program Mobility Fund for the same activity. • The maximum amount of support allocated to students is 25,000 CZK. • If an applicant has received financial support for the project from the CU Grant Agency term mobility within the project, the POINT contribution cannot be claimed for such mobi overlapping of funding is not possible. • After the end of the application process, the faculty prepares a nominal list of applica Committee, indicating the faculty priority of each application (1 - highest priority, 2 priority, 3 - lowest priority). • Each recipient of supported mobility is required to submit a final report and a confirma Submissions must be made online via the IS Věda UK system no later than 30 days after th mobility. The organization of international summer schools and other extracurricular events: • Financial support for the implementation of summer schools can be requested for travel, services, materials and personal expenses and scholarships. It is also possible to apply activities'' (to be defined precisely). • The POINT programme works on the principle of "seed money", i.e. one-off or recurrent su to set up a summer school or event, for a maximum of the first three years.
