Study Stay

            * Basic information
            ******************************************************************************************
            • The content of the mobility is study, i.e. taking part in courses abroad.

            • This can also include the writing of a bachelor's, diploma or dissertation thesis.
            • Suitable for all levels of study (bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral).
            • The duration is at least 2 months and at most 12 months.

            • The basic condition for the completion of a study stay is the acquisition of at least 20
              the case of a stay during a bachelor’s degree, or at least 15 ECTS credits in the case o
              a master’s degree.

              NOTE: Some faculties may require a higher number of ECTS.

            * How to apply?
            ******************************************************************************************
            1.Check the website of your faculty and basic unit to find out when and under what conditi

              selection procedure takes place.
            2.Choose the foreign institution at which you would like to spend your stay.
              • After logging in* to the Charles University Web Applications [ URL "https://is.cuni.cz

                lang=en"]  (Erasmus+ interface), you will find a list of institutions with which your 
                unit, or the entire faculty, has a cooperation agreement. Click on "Submit new applica
                Czech: Výběr destinace a založení přihlášky) and set the filter according to your home

                basic unit.  
              • In the CU Web Applications, you can also view a list of foreign institutions with whic
                units of your faculty have contracts. While you can apply for these institutions, you 

                only on condition that there is insufficient interest from students from the given uni
                also view contracts of other faculties. However, it is not possible to submit an onlin
                to these institutions without the consent of the Erasmus+ coordinator of your home fac

                faculty for whose partner institution you are applying.

              *Students gain access to the system by using their personal number (the eight-figure num

              student identity card (ISIC) below the photo) and the password that goes with the card. 
              forgotten the password or it has expired, they can get a new one from the Charles Univer

            3.To apply, click on "Sign on" in the?last column on the right and fill out the form. You
              can submit a maximum of 3 applications for one faculty – we recommend choosing more than

              one destination institution to increase your chances of success. Please indicate the sta
              of the stay according to the semester dates given on the websites of your chosen foreign
              If the current dates have not yet been published, use the previous year's dates.  

            4.Don't forget to provide all the required documents for the selection procedure (these ty
              your CV, a cover letter or a language certificate) according to the conditions of your h
              basic unit.
