This is in accordance with Czech legislation and represents standard procedure. Notice: Based on the document approved by the Rector’s Board on 15 December 2025, the opti for the so-called relocation benefit for newly arriving postdocs will be discontinued with 1 January 2026. At the beginning of 2026, only applications submitted this year will be pa 1 January, the CU Rectorate’s Department for Science and Research will no longer accept ap reimbursement of the relocation benefit. 1. MicrograntsPostdocs In 2026, the relocation benefit will be replaced by a new benefit: microgrants for postdoc The microgrants will be intended to cover short-term and flexible development activities w benefit for the postdoc’s career development and the strategic objectives of Charles Unive Supported activities will include: • participation in professional training events (workshops, summer schools, training for m • costs related to project preparation (e.g. matchmaking events, networking), • pilot studies and preparatory research activities, • travel costs related to building international research networks. A condition for awarding a microgrant will be the preparation of a brief output for the Po (e.g. a blog post or a short report) describing the benefit of the microgrant for the post development and further professional direction (e.g. new competences, establishment of col follow-up to a project idea, etc.). The amount of the microgrants will range from CZK 10,000 to CZK 25,000. All postdocs meeting the definition valid from 1 January 2026 will be eligible to apply. E be able to apply once per calendar year. The detailed rules will be published on the Postdoctoral Hub website in March 2026. Applic benefit will also open in March. 2. Conferences and symposiaPostdocs The purpose of this scheme is to allow post-docs across the University to set up and run e conferences and symposia. The intention is to facilitate postdoctoral activities within th and units, while providing an opportunity for the development of invaluable skills and exp process.  Please note that this benefit is a non-claimable (non-entitlement-based).   You can apply for up to 15 000 CZK per activity.    It is important to discuss your proposal including the budget with your faculty or unit fi or unit needs to be willing to cover your conference/symposia expenses first. We will reim after the event has taken place on the basis ofsubmitted statement.
