General Information

Lifelong learning is an important part of CU educational activity. Faculties and other establishments offer courses within the bounds of lifelong learning programs which are destined for various target groups: for applicants, graduates, seniors, and for students and others who are interested. Courses which take place focus on either obtaining skills for a profession or for interested amateurs.

The courses are taught programs or combined form, and distance-learning elements are applied in some courses. A broad range of lifelong learning courses including: entrance exam preparatory courses for Czech and foreign applicants, preparatory courses according to §60 of the Czech Law on Universities No.111/1998 Coll.on Higher Education Institutions, within the bounds of recognized academic programs, professional and hobby courses, including the University of the Third Age courses.
