CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE
Inter-university co-operation and international mobility is considered by Charles University to be a crucial condition for the improvement of the quality of activities in research and teaching. Co-operation with foreign universities is based on a global network of partner relations that gives CU access to the to best information and experience and makes possible extensive exchange of students, teachers and researchers. For student mobility CU has been creating the conditions for one- to two-semester exchanges, while exchanges of academic staff are focused on the creation of joint research projects. CU is striving to integrate all its faculties into this process, while placing the main emphasis on exploitation of European Union programmes.
In the of internationalisation of education, CU adheres to the conclusions of the Bologna Declaration, as do institutions of higher education in the other EU states.
