Prorector of CU represents the rector in an appointed activity sector. Rector appoints the prorector after the university Academic Senate's statement.

Activity area of the prorector for external relations especially covers the duties in the field of activity presentation of the university and information giving in this area, public relations, long-term principles of cooperation with mass media, editing university periodicals and organizing publicity and various thematic actions.

The prorector's working conditions are secured by External Relations Department of the Rector's Office of CU and

Information and Advisory Center of CU.
