A chancellor is appointed by a rector.
The CU chancellor is in charge of the rector's office functioning (a part of the rector's office) which especially secures the conditions of functioning and
performing rector's decisions and control activity at the CU and which coordinates the CU activity in the area of intrauniversity legislative duties and in the area of constructing information technology at the CU. The chancellor is a secretary of the CU Administrative Board.
The chancellor's working conditions are secured by the CU rector's office.
