Bursar is a university organ. Rector appoints the bursar on the basis of selection procedure and after the university Academic Senate4s statement. The CU bursar is in charge of the CU economy, acts in property rights affairs in behalf of CU, manages internal administration of the university, represents the university, and manages the rector4s office and acts in matters relating to labour law on a scale set by the rector.

The bursar´s working conditions are secured by the CU rector´s office.
