“The success of Forum clearly shows that our teamwork on Charles University Rectorate really works. Thank you, Petra, Lucie and everybody else,” said Martin Kovář, Vice-Rector for Public Affairs.

In its 14th year, the Golden Semicolon contest introduced numerous innovations. Apart from three new or newly independent categories, including the best website, app or social network profile, four new special Grand Prix awards were granted by the PR Klub Executive Committee, consisting of five members. Besides the Forum magazine issued by Charles University, these Grand Prix awards were won by TON Catalogue and KMPG Czech Republic for their Advent calendar and B2B magazine Marwick respectively.

127 periodical and non-periodical magazines and newspapers took part in the contest; the jury granted awards in fourteen categories, including a new Grand Prix for graphic design, content and overall presentation. During the event, Václav Pavelka of Native PR was induced into the Hall of Fame.

The media was evaluated by six jury groups, consisting of leading PR experts or company owners. “This year, every jury group also included an experienced graphic designer as a graphic supervisor. The objective is to maintain high standards of graphic design, and provide feedback for the contestants not only in terms of content but of design, too,” said Petr Langer, Chairman of the PR Klub Executive Committee.
