Located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, one of the United States' most livable and film production vibrant cities, Point Park University and the Department of Cinema and Digital Arts offers an immersive, hands-on education in professional film and media production, animation & visual effects and screenwriting. KEUKA COLLEGE MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
Keuka College was founded in 1890 and is located on the shore of Keuka Lake in New York state’s Finger Lakes region. Keuka is a private, undergraduate and graduate, residential college that also offers bachelor’s degree completion and master’s degree programs through its Accelerated Studies for Adults Program and international programs in China and Vietnam.

GRAND VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
Allendale, Michigan is home to Grand Valley's main campus, established in 1960, situated on 1,304 acres 12 miles west of Grand Rapids. The 38-acre Robert C. THE NEW SCHOOL FOR SOCIAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS
The New School for Social Research provides an education grounded in history and informed by a legacy of critical thought and civic engagement. The school’s dedication to academic freedom and intellectual inquiry reaches back to the university’s founding in 1919 as a home for progressive thinkers and the creation of the University in Exile in 1933 for scholars persecuted in Nazi Europe. The interdisciplinary education offered by The New School for Social Research today explores and promotes global peace and justice as more than theoretical ideals. The New School for Social Research is a second home for students from a variety of geographical, cultural, economic, and political backgrounds. It enrolls more than 1,000 students from all regions of the United States and from more than 70 countries. Here, civic engagement begins in the classroom. Seminar-style classes facilitate mutual respect and intellectual rigor and take advantage of the school’s diversity and location in New York City.
A limited number of prize fellowships are provided to incoming doctoral students with distinguished records. Prize fellowships provide full tuition and a monthly stipend intended to allow recipients to devote themselves full time to their program of study. Students must submit a completed application form and all required documentation at least one month before the beginning of a semester. THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA SUMMER HAWK TUITION GRANTS
The University of Iowa is a major national research university located on a 1,900-acre campus in Iowa City in southeast Iowa. Iowa is composed of 11 colleges, the largest of which is the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, enrolling most of Iowa's undergraduates. The Henry B. Tippie College of Business, the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, and the Colleges of Education, Engineering, Law, Nursing, Pharmacy, enroll undergraduates, and with the Colleges of Dentistry and Public Health provide graduate education in conjunction with the Graduate College.
The Summer Hawk Tuition Grant provides a summer-session scholarship to undergraduate students who first enrolled at Iowa in Summer or Fall 2013 or after. No additional application is required. First-year, first-time students admitted for Summer or Fall 2013 are eligible to receive the grant during a single summer but must use it within four years of initial enrollment (no later than summer 2017) and before receiving an undergraduate degree. This is a nonrenewable, one-time award for up to 12 credit hours during a single summer.

Realizace CD (ev. DVD, multimediálního projektu) s díly žijících českých autorů vážné hudby, případně českých skladatelů druhé poloviny 20. století
Do grantového řízení budou přijímány projekty jak autorské, tak se smíšenou dramaturgií (více autorů). Žádost musí obsahovat názvy a duratu skladeb, jména předpokládaných interpretů, nahrávky skladeb (i informativní), partitury skladeb (nebo alespoň jejich ukázky), jméno vydavatele (pokud nepodává žádost sám). Jestliže již existují profesionální nahrávky některých kompozic a budou převzaty na CD, uvést, kdy a kde byly pořízeny.
OBOR INTERPRETAČNÍ:

Realizace CD pro mladé talenty ve věku do 30 let
Podmínkou přijetí návrhu je zajímavá dramaturgie CD, reprezentační nahrávka interpretačního výkonu z koncertu, doklady o umístění na prestižní mezinárodní soutěži v uplynulých dvou letech a aktivní koncertní činnosti (kritiky koncertních vystoupení). Připravované CD může obsahovat nahrávky jednoho nebo dvou interpretů a mělo by sloužit propagaci českého interpretačního umění. Příspěvek je určen na část nákladů spojených s výrobou CD.

Podpora studia v zahraničí pro studenty českých hudebních vysokých ąkol nebo jejich absolventy do 30 let věku
Příspěvek je určen na následující akademický rok. Podmínkou přijetí návrhu je mimo jiné doklad o umístění na prestižní mezinárodní soutěži v uplynulých dvou letech, doklad o přijetí ke studiu na hudební škole v zahraničí nebo doklad o chystaném či probíhajícím přijímacím řízení, vyjádření současného (posledního) pedagoga hlavního oboru nebo zástupce školy, program studia v zahraničí, specializace (alespoň rámcově), případně jméno a specializace budoucího pedagoga hlavního oboru.

Osoby či instituce, jichž se projekty budou týkat, musí být významné z hlediska české hudební kultury jakékoli historické epochy. K žádosti o vytvoření nebo vydání monografie je mimo povinných příloh dle formuláře třeba připojit ucelenou ukázku textu (1 kapitolu) a podrobnou osnovu práce.

k podpoře:
• ucelených projektů přispívajících k propagaci a šíření české soudobé hudby
• projektů, které jsou výrazným přínosem pro českou hudební kulturu
• projektů systematické hudebně nakladatelské činnosti a muzikologického bádání
• projektů umožňujících účast vynikajících studentů - občanů ČR na kvalitních zahraničních hudebně vzdělávacích programech.
Předkladateli projektů a žadateli o příspěvek z NIF mohou být právnické i fyzické osoby, jejichž činnost spadá do působnosti nadace
v oblasti české hudební kultury.
V případě právnické osoby se jedná o subjekt, který je registrován jako:
a) občanské sdružení;
b) obecně prospěšná společnost;
c) účelové zařízení církví, jež poskytuje vzdělávací a kulturní služby;
d) nadace, která doloží, že součástí jejího nadačního jmění nejsou prostředky kategorie NIF;
e) nadační fond;
f) příspěvková organizace, a to za podmínky, že do předloženého projektu sama vloží nejméně 50% finančních prostředků;
g) veřejná vysoká ąkola
Fyzická osoba může žádat o příspěvek z prostředků NIF pouze v případě, že není podnikatelem.
Do grantového řízení NIF jsou přijímány výhradně čitelně vyplněné formuláře „Žádost o příspěvek NČHF z prostředků Nadačního investičního fondu”, doplněné o příslušné přílohy (soupis obligatorních příloh je součástí formuláře).
NADACE ČESKÝ HUDEBNÍ FOND vypisuje výběrové řízení k získání příspěvku NČHF s uzávěrkou 30. 3. a 30. 9. 2013
K projednání v rámci běžného výběrového řízení jsou přijímány žádosti, které nevyhovují zadání nebo podmínkám grantových řízení, a to na formuláři „Žádost o příspěvek Nadace Český hudební fond“ (viz str. 4 formuláře, „Podmínky pro poskytování příspěvku NČHF, čl. II. „Nadační příspěvky“).
UPOZORNĚNÍ:
Zachovávejte prosím stanovený formát formuláře (počet stránek).
Žádost s přílohami nesvazujte, nesešívejte, nevkládejte jednotlivé listy do průhledných desek apod. Ponechte ji jako volné listy, ev. sepnuté svorkou.

Pepperdine University School of Law Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution announces the LL.M. Program Formatted for European Lawyers and Judges. Law professionals who cannot dedicate a year in the U.S. for the traditional LL.M. program can participate in a pilot program with weekend courses in London as well as intensive courses in Los Angeles, California. In California, participants will mediate 20 cases in the courts, observe commercial private sector mediations, and tour the largest court-annexed mediation program in the world.
